Dünyanın en büyük beşinci ihracatçısı olan Türk tekstil sektörü, ihracatın artarak devam etmesi, kapasite kullanım oranlarının artması ve ülkeye daha fazla döviz kazandırılmasını amaçlıyor. Ticaret Bakanlığı ile iş birliği içinde bu zor dönemin atlatılacağına inandıklarını söyleyen Ahmet Öksüz, “Sektörümüz bu yakın temasımız sayesinde yeniden Türkiye ekonomisine değer kazandırmaya devam edecek” dedi.
İstanbul Tekstil ve Hammaddeleri İhracatçıları Birliği (İTHİB) yönetimi, İTHİB adına İTKİB Fuarcılık A.Ş. tarafından yapılan Texhibition İstanbul Kumaş ve Tekstil Aksesuarları Fuarı’nda sektörün sorunları ve gelecek hedeflerini açıkladı. Hazır giyim sektörüyle birlikte 31,2 mi̇lyar dolar i̇hracatla Türki̇ye’ni̇n en büyük 2. i̇hracatçı sektörü olduklarını ifade eden İTHİB Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı Ahmet Öksüz, “Yaklaşık 20 milyar dolar değerinde dış ticaret fazlasıyla Türkiye’ye en fazla döviz girdisi sağlayan sektörüz. Hazır giyim sektörüyle birlikte 82,4 milyar dolar üretim değeri ile imalat sanayiinde en fazla üretim gerçekleştiren ikinci sektör konumundayız. Türkiye, dünya ihracatından yüzde 1 pay alıyorken, tekstil sektörü olarak yüzde 3,4’lük paya sahibiz. 2022’de bu oran yüzde 2,8 seviyesindeydi. Dünyanın en büyük beşinci tekstil ihracatçısı, AB’nin de en büyük ikinci tedarikçisi konumundayız. Bu veriler sektörümüzün nasıl bir büyüklüğe ve ülkemiz için nasıl bir öneme sahip olduğunu net bir şekilde gözler önüne seriyor” dedi.
The expectation of the textile sector is ‘protective measures’
The Turkish textile sector, which is the fifth largest exporter in the world, aims to continue increasing exports, increase capacity utilization rates and bring more foreign currency to the country. Ahmet Öksüz, stating that they believe that this difficult period will be overcome in cooperation with the Ministry of Commerce, said “Our sector will continue to add value to the Turkish economy thanks to this close contact.”
The management of Istanbul Textile and Raw Materials Exporters Association (İTHİB) explained the problems and future goals of the sector at the Texhibition Istanbul Fabric and Textile Accessories Fair, organized by ITKİB Fuarcılık, Inc. on behalf of İTHİB.
Ahmet Öksüz, Chairman of Board of İTHİB, stating that they are Turkey’s 2nd largest exporter sector with 31.2 billion dollars of exports, together with the ready-made clothing sector, said “We are the sector providing the highest foreign exchange inflow to Turkey with a foreign trade surplus of approximately 20 billion dollars. Together with the ready-made clothing sector, we are the second sector with the highest production in the manufacturing industry with a production value of 82.4 billion dollars. While Turkey gets a 1 percent share of world exports, we, as the textile sector, have a 3.4 percent share. In 2022, this rate was 2.8 percent. We are the fifth largest textile exporter in the world and the second largest supplier in the EU. These data clearly reveal how big size our sector has and how importance it has for our country”
